About Me
Hello
I'm Natalie Saunders
My passion is to help business owners and leaders, organisations and teams be and do their best: creating productive, positive working environments in which people thrive. It’s also what underpins my desire to help people who are experiencing a turbulent time in their work life.
As well as my somewhat unusual blend of legal and HR experience, commerciality and emotional intelligence, it is my values and beliefs that set me apart, informing how I live my life at work and at home. They guide what I do (and do not do) and how I treat my clients.
My values mean I will:
Do what I say I am going to do
Accountability and reliability are two key foundation stones for any working relationship. I commit and I deliver.
Act with integrity and congruence
Authenticity and “walking the walk” really matter to me.
Take huge pride in what I do
This means I only accept work that I know I will excel at – and I do it well. And if I can’t help you, there’s every chance I know someone who can.
More About Me
My background and career
Having studied law at Magdalen College, Oxford, I trained as a lawyer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, qualifying in 2000 as a specialist in employment law and incentives. Most notably I have:
- founded, grown and exited my first business – a law firm called Pharos Legal
- worked in the public and private sectors, including as a member of the Executive Team and Director of HR, in large, complex organisations across a range of industries
- re-engineered an HR function to modernise and streamline its ways of working and enable it to operate as a strategic partner (driving out admin whilst also creating more interesting roles and setting a clear vision for the purpose of the team)
- designed and delivered a People Strategy, 2 equality and diversity strategies and 2 wellbeing frameworks.
My strategic approach, blended with commerciality, technical employment law knowledge, and significant HR experience, enables me to design and deliver transformational change projects (including culture change) and deliver strategic programmes of work spanning the entire employee lifecycle.

My Activities
Outside Of Work
I love adrenalin-fuelled activities- rollercoasters, zipwires, white water rafting as well as singing (ask me about the album I’ve just recorded with my choir!), reading and eating out.
I am a wife, Mum and devoted dog owner.
