Case Study 1 – a strategic approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

At Leeds Beckett University, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (“EDI”) were core to my role as Director of HR. I evidenced my commitment to creating the conditions for colleagues, and students, to do their best work by co-creating LBU’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Framework: https://www.leedsbeckett.ac.uk/UPequality_framework and championed this agenda, striving to help educate colleagues about how inclusion contributes directly to organisational success.

The EDI work I undertook at Durham University led to their successful Race Equality Charter application and resulting bronze award.
